WFIT's Fall 2013 Fund Drive Is Almost Here

WFIT’s Fall 2013 Fund Drive kicks off Friday, October 4th at 7 a.m. and runs through Sunday, October 13. As a National Public Radio station, WFIT is tasked with grass-roots fundraising for general program support. Membership support is the “Public” in Public Radio.

Your tax-deductible gift helps WFIT keep your favorite music, local and world news and event information on-the-air and on-line.

Tune Into FM Odyssey's "Save The Indian River Lagoon" This Friday

This special edition re-broadcast at 3 p.m. this Friday, Sept. 27 will feature interviews with the director of the Indian River Lagoon Program at St. Johns River Water Management District and the Executive Director of the Marine Resources Council.

In addition, there will be plenty of songs to help drive the point home, and how you can bring awareness to our elected officials by attending "Hands Across the River", this Saturday morning from 9 to 10 am at 8 area Indian River Bridges.

Since January, we have lost hundreds of manatees, pelicans and dolphins and the numbers continue to grow.
