WFIT-FM will celebrate the 4 of July with a beach party with the islands sounds of The Lights Out Project.  

Melbourne’s very own Lights Out Project joins Sound Waves in the studio for a fun live session to get ready for the release of their new live album.  

The party starts at noontime on the 4th of July with The Light Out Project live on WFIT 89.5 FM.

Looking for something exciting to do this weekend? WFIT is giving you the opportunity to win tickets to see Phantogram this Friday at 6pm at the Beacham, or Rebelution this Saturday  at 6:30 pm at Cocoa Riverfront Park!

Florida Tech and WFIT are excited to announce that the Christian Tamburr Quintet will be recording their brand new album in the new WFIT performance studio.

Christian Tamburr is the 2014 Florida Tech musical artist in residence. The new album will feature some of the top names in jazz recording right here at the WFIT studios.  Recording will take place July 13 and 14. More information about this recording and musical tidbits will be available soon!

WFIT will be airing an exclusive public radio only concert with rock and roll great Jack White! The full length concert will be streamed live from the historic Fonda Theater in Hollywood beginning at 12:45am tonight. 

The concert takes place just he releases his new solo album, Lazaretto, a bold, shape-shifting collection of eclectic rock that ranks among White's wildest and most imaginative efforts. He'll showcase much of this record in this exclusive concert presented here as a live video web cast!
