Eleven Florida Tech Panther Football 2016 Season games will be broadcast live on WFIT.  The first game airs on September 3rd, the final game on November 12th.

WFIT is collecting much-needed items for the Florida Wildlife Hospital and the Central Brevard Humane Society.  Items such as baby food, flannel receiving blankets, hoses, paper towels, puppy and kitten formula, non-clumping cat litter....the list goes on and on!  Visit Florida Wildlife Hospital's wish list,  and Central Brevard Humane Society's wish list.  Bring in your donation to place under WFIT's Christmas tree during regular business hou

Florida Institute of Technology artist in residence Paul Anquez is recording an album this week at WFIT’s recording studio.

Anquez, a pianist and composer from the Paris Conservatory, will be joined in the university radio station’s studio by Sweden- and Paris-based singer and improviser Isabel Sörling.

Anquez is the second Florida Tech artist in residence to record an album on campus. Christian Tamburr recorded his most recent album, “Voyage,” at the WFIT performance studio last year.

WFIT 89.5 FM, “Public Radio for the Space Coast” is turning 40 and we're getting ready to celebrate!

The entire community is invited to join WFIT at our free 40th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, April 18. The festivities takes place at the Panthereum  and at WFIT Broadcast Center on the Florida Tech campus from noon until 6 pm.

2-1-1 Brevard will present the “Stars of the Space Coast Awards” on Friday, May 1, honoring the “stellar work” of local nonprofits. “Nonprofits are mission-critical partners in our work connecting people with resources,” said Libby Donoghue, 2-2-1-1 Brevard executive director.
