NASA

The White House asked NASA if they could add astronauts to the upcoming around-the-moon-and-back mission.  WFIT's Rick Glasby shares the results of the feasibility study:

Nearly 15 years after her first space launch, NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson has now spent more time off-planet than any other American, at more than 534 days. Whitson, 57, is a biochemist who has twice commanded the International Space Station.

SpaceX

SpaceX successfully launched a spy satellite Monday morning aboard a Falcon 9 rocket, the second shot at the launch after cancelling Sunday's original launch.

Final preparations are underway for Tuesday's launch of an Atlas V rocket and Cygnus spacecraft to the International Space Station.  WFIT's Rick Glasby reports from the Kennedy Space Center.
