Botanical Fest Celebrates 10 Years with Free Lecture & Garden Tour

Saturday April 19th at 10 am, Florida Tech presents a free lecture for all garden enthusiasts.  The event celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the Botanical Fest celebration and will be held in the Hartley Room on campus.  Registration

Dr. Robert Lyons, Program Director at the University of Delaware and Longwood Gardens Graduate Program talks about his upcoming lecture on the 19th.

As garden enthusiasts, it is our honor to host Dr. Lyons. As Program Director at the University of Delaware and Longwood Gardens Graduate Program in Public Horticulture, he is considered to be one of the top public horticulturists in the world. Dr. Lyons will share exclusive insight on FIT's garden and your own.

Progressive Alliance Addresses Water Issues April 3rd

The Space Coast Progressive Alliance hosts a free screening of Last Call At The Oasis 6:30 pm Thursday April 3rd at Front Street Civic Center. 

Bob Serody, SCPA Program Committee and Shannon Roberts, SCPA President discuss the screening.

The film focuses on world crisis in water supply, which is looming in Florida too.  The documentary illuminates the vital role that water plays in our lives and the global water crisis as the central issue facing our world this century.

Club Esteem is committed to helping children and their families obtain real and lasting success and create meaningful change in their community.

 

 

 

Ellena Little, Executive Director, Marissa Jordan and Saskiya Fagan, both students talk about Club Esteem and how it impacts the community.

 

Club Esteem is a non-profit organization that provides free after-school programming Monday through Friday from 2:30-6:30 PM, as well as summer activities, to students in grades 1st-12th living in economically disadvantaged communities. Club Esteem offers quality programs that develop academic and social skills in a safe, caring, and structured environment.
