International Student Spotlight

Yuancheng Xu from China participated in a Florida Tech International Student Spotlight and spoke with EJ about his passage in learning and writing about scientific discoveries.

Shreya Yadav participated in a Florida Tech International Student Spotlight and spoke with EJ about the devastating earthquake that took place in her home country of Nepal on 25 April 2015.  Shreya also gave guidance for individuals wanting to provide donations for relief funding. Shreya is scheduled to return to her home country after Spring final exams.  WFIT wishes her, her family, and her country a healthy recovery.

Angel Vasquez

Amy Gutierrez stopped by the WFIT studios to show off her guitar skills. Amy put on a show for the WFIT staff members.  While she is majoring in Biomedical Engineering, Amy is a musician at heart.  She chose Florida Tech in order to pursue a minor in Music. Amy is a 1st-generation Honduran-American.

Kinjal Sukani stopped by the WFIT studios to talk with EJ Castor about her home country India.  Kinjal is from Gujarat, which is  a state in the western part of India.  Kinjal speaks four languages and shared information regarding the diversity of cultures within the individual Indian territories.

Natalie Miller, a Florida Tech international student from Victoria, Canada and a member of the Florida Tech Women's Rowing Team stopped by the WFIT studios to talk with EJ Castor about being a member of the rowing team.  She also talked about the training the team undergoes in preparation for competition.  Natalie is majoring in Business Administration, Leadership, and Social Responsibility.
