The Foosaner Art Museum presents a comprehensive exhibition of the work of Ernst Oppler (German, 1867 – 1929). The exhibit runs Sept. 15 through Jan. 6, 2013.
Oppler studied and worked in Munich, London, Holland and France but eventually settled in Berlin. He became an active member of the Berlin Secession, a group of artists who championed the new, Impressionist style.

Eau Gallie Arts District's First Friday Art Walk goes to the dogs Friday, August 3rd when the district celebrates the Dog Days of Summer. Local canines are invited to tag along with their human friends during this family friendly event. Local businesses will be providing water for the canine walkers.
Art lovers can enjoy a leisurely stroll while perusing the galleries, shops and displays from 5:30 till 8 p.m. A free concert by The Bone Dogs takes place in the band shell and will set the mood.
