American Jazz Pianist Competition - November 1st and 2nd

On Saturday and Sunday, November 1st and 2nd, the nation's top ten young jazz pianists will compete for over $10,000.00 in prizes in Gleason Performing Arts Center on the Florida Tech campus. This is the launch of the first EVER American Jazz Pianist Competition!

Florida Native Plant Society Presents Conservation of Florida's Endangered Plants

The Conradina Chapter of  the Florida Native Plant Society presents Conservation of Florida's Endangered Plants at Bok Tower Gardens.

The event takes place Monday, November 10, 6 p.m. at Melbourne Fee Avenue Library. The speaker is Rare Plant Curator Glen Bupp, M.S. Ecology Florida Institute of Technology, B.S. Ecology Florida Institute of Technology. 

The Conradina chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society covers the southern region of Brevard County.

Garden Club By The Sea Celebrates 50th Anniversary With A Garden Tour, Nov. 16

Indialantic’s Garden Club By The Sea will celebrate their 50th Anniversary by hosting a Garden Tour on Sunday, November 16th from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm.                                 

The tour will showcase six exquisite beachside gardens with knowledgeable docents on hand.  Special events at Lily Park, on South Riverside Drive, include entertainment under the gazebo, an enchanted garden shop, succulent mini garden sale and much more.

The Marine Resources Council Hosts Rummage For The River, Nov. 14, 15

Who doesn't love an old-fashioned rummage sale?   

If you're like me, you won't want to miss the Marine Resources Council's Rummage for the River. The event takes place Friday and Saturday, November 14 & 15 and a 3rd day has been added, Friday 21st 9 a.m to 3 p.m. at the Ted Moorhead Lagoon House, 3275 Dixie Highway, Northeast Palm Bay. Friday's hours are noon until 7 p.m. You can shop from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday.
