Kennedy Space Center

The holidays are out of this world at Kennedy Space Center Visitors Complex! From December 19, 2015 through January 3, 2016, Kennedy Space Center will be alive with the sights and sounds of the season.

Celebrate the season at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, where the holidays go high-tech with the first-of-its-kind “Spirit of Exploration” show – a holiday projection mapping set against the side of a Saturn 1B rocket – as well as the Rocket Garden Light Show and plenty of holiday décor.

The Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier will partner with Toys for Tots for the third annual Toys for Tots Beach Bash Dec. 18, featuring a complimentary buffet, live entertainment, drink specials, prizes and giveaways. The highlight of the evening will be the Santa Claus lookalike contest, the winner of which will receive a 3 day/2 night vacation at a Westgate resort. Second and third place will be awarded $50 and $25 pier gift certificates.

The Space Coast Symphony will present the Eighth Annual Messiah Sing Along, the enduring Christmas oratorio by George Friedrich Handel.  Hailed as Central Florida’s “ultimate Christmas concert,” and an annual sellout, this free concert is a don’t miss!

Melbourne Municipal Band

You won’t need snow to enjoy our wonderful Sleigh Ride concert. This event is an annual tradition with all your holiday favorites – and more. The Handbell Choir from Eastminster Presbyterian Church will play for our preshow entertainment. Eastminster’s Kyle Jones also will join the band to sing some holiday favorites and some Frank Sinatra tunes. We'll then have Mr. Jones work over time as he narrates Twas the Night Before Christmas. It’s rumored that Mr. and Mrs. Claus will take a break from their holiday preparations to make an appearance, so bring the kids!
