The 3rd Annual Ocean-Reef-Beach Festival comes to Pelican Beach Park in Satellite Beach on Saturday, December 6th. A Blood Drive will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Florida Institute of Technology on Monday and Tuesday, November 24 and 25.
All donors will receive two free movie tickets, a wellness checkup and the great feeling of saving lives in our community. Wellness checkup includes blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count and cholesterol screening.
WFIT will host a Market Day on Friday, November 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The market will be held outside WFIT Broadcast Center and Gleason Auditorium on the Florida Tech campus. Come on out to see local vendors displaying their produce, plants, stuffed breads, soaps, organic scrubs, skin care products, olives, cheese, pesto, fresh sauces, salsa, hummus, cupcakes, sweet breads, jewelry, and much more!
You’ll also be able to check out adorable, adoptable pets from the Humane Society and take in a demonstration by Lure Course of Brevard.

The evening kicks off at 7 p.m. with Monday’s Mona Lisa – an up-and-coming Pop/Rock/Post-Grunge/Alternative band from Satellite Beach, Florida. Monday's Mona Lisa were voted Favorite Original Band at the 11th Annual Brevard Live Music Awards held Sept. 8, 2014 at Florida Tech.
