Brevard Zoo's Summer Saturday Nights program is running every Saturday night through July 28. To beat the summertime heat, Brevard Zoo extends hours of operation to 9 p.m. all nine Saturdays in June and July.

Each Saturday, most of the zoo animals are out on exhibit until dusk. For an additional charge, patrons can go kayaking, ride the train, and feed the giraffes. The Zoo provides musical entertainment from 6 to 8:30 p.m. and a special animal encounter at 7 p.m.

Beat the heat by attending the Barrier Island Center’s special showing of “Coral Reef Adventure”.  The film event takes place Saturday, June 9 at 1 p.m. and again at 3 p.m.

Experience some of the world's most vibrant and endangered coral reefs on the big screen….all in recognition of World Oceans Day. Attendance is free.

An Evening at the Observatory will offer the rare opportunity to witness the transit of Venus across the face of the Sun.  This special evening takes place Tuesday, June 5th, 6 p.m. at Florida Tech on the rooftop F.W. Olin Observatory.
