It’s the tail end of the big, bad 1980s in Hollywood, and the party has been raging hard. Aqua Net, Lycra, lace and liquor flow freely at one of the Sunset Strips last legendary venues, a place where sex machine Stacee Jaxx takes the stage. Amidst the madness, aspiring rock star Drew longs to take the stage as the next big thing. But the rock and roll fairy-tale is about to end when German developers sweep into town with plans to turn the fabled Strip into just another capitalist strip mall. Can Drew, Sherri and the gang save the strip–and themselves–before it's too late?

Direct from Broadway and in its Florida premiere, "It Shoulda Been You" comes to The Henegar with a mad-cap wedding celebration we know you won’t want to miss! After all, who doesn’t love a wedding? Especially one that includes a beautiful blushing bride, her uninvited and unrequited boyfriend, a groom with a secret, a sister with her own hidden agenda, and a pair of mothers from hell.

Surfing Through the Ages, a surf film by Diana Wehrell-Grabowski PhD captures on film and in audio narratives the desire individuals have to share the passion of surfing with those dear to their heart, and beyond. Video footage of youngsters to seasoned surfers, couples and families. Filmed throughout Florida, Australia and California.

This semi-annual event is sponsored by Brevard County Parks & Recreation. Parking will be available at Melbourne Square Mall, Pole #4, on the west side of JC Penney. Patrons will be shuttled to and from the park. Admission is $4 per person (cash only). Children under 3 will be admitted free. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Foosaner Art Museum invites kids, parents, and friends to celebrate the exhibition Radiant Messenger: Drawings by China Marks on Saturday, January 7, 2017. Bring the whole family to participate in hands-on art activities in pottery, drawing and embroidery, family-friendly gallery tours with Foosaner docents, and a storytime. Artful activities are designed and led by Renee Foosaner Education Center faculty, including Nancy Trezza and Elaine Rowgo, with special guest Denise Liberi.
