"Saturday Night Fever" the film turns 40 this year, and you know what? You should be dancin', yeah!

Tony Manero (John Travolta) doesn't have much going for him during the weekdays. He still lives at home and works as a paint store clerk in his Brooklyn, N.Y., neighborhood. But he lives for the weekends, when he and his friends go to the local disco and dance the night away. When a big dance competition is announced, he wrangles the beautiful and talented Stephanie (Karen Lynn Gorney) to be his partner. As the two train for the big night, they start to fall for each other as well.

The Central Area of Brevard County Parks and Recreation Department would like to invite you to the 2017 Cocoa/Rockledge Holiday Parade - Holiday By the Shore! The Parade begins at 5:30PM from Rockledge High School and ends at Lee Wenner Park at approximately 7:00PM.

Please bring a favorite dish to enjoy and share with your friends as we celebrate another year together. We will all rock to the amazing sound of Karen Houston and her "Ike-ettes"! You know that it's always a lot of fun, so bring a friend or two to share the love.

It's that time again! December kicks off this year's North Atlantic Right Whale Season. MRC's very own North Atlantic Right Whale Coordinator, Julie Albert, will be speaking about the status of the endangered whales. This season she will be giving a population update highlighting the 2% population loss this summer. She will also be giving a general overview of their life history, biology, threats and conservation status, as well as, teaching how to identify and protect North Atlantic right whales.
