The 28th Annual Melbourne Art Festival arrives in historic downtown Melbourne Saturday and Sunday, April 28 and 29. Over 250 juried artists from around the country display their work and compete for cash prizes. Sixty thousand guests are expected. Admission and parking are free.
WFIT 89.5 FM and the city of Melbourne present Jazz at the Panthereum on Sunday, April 29, from 3 to 6 p.m. The free, handicapped accessible event will be held in Florida Tech’s outdoor Panthereum next to the Denius Student Center on Country Club Road.
The Winston Scott Jazz Ensemble performs at the Foosaner Art Museum’s Jazz Friday on April 6. Capt. Winston Scott is a trumpet playing astronaut who is also Senior Vice President for External Relations at Florida Institute of Technology. Jazz Fridays are held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the museum galleries.

Bring your lawn chairs to the Panthereum on the Florida Tech campus today, March 18 and enjoy an afternoon of jazz with the Satellite High School Jazz Band. The concert is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and is free an open to the public. Jazz at the Panthereum concerts are sponsored by the City of Melbourne and WFIT, 89.5 FM.
