The Winston Scott Jazz Ensemble performs at the Foosaner Art Museum’s Jazz Friday on April 6.  Capt. Winston Scott is a trumpet playing astronaut who is also Senior Vice President for External Relations at Florida Institute of Technology.  Jazz Fridays are held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the museum galleries.

Today's weather is perfect for an afternoon enjoying Jazz at the Panthereum.  Bring your lawn chairs to the Panthereum on the Florida Tech campus today, March 18 and enjoy an afternoon of jazz with the Satellite High School Jazz Band.  The concert is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and is free an open to the public. Jazz at the Panthereum concerts are sponsored by the City of Melbourne and WFIT, 89.5 FM.

Amy Goodman, host and executive producer of the award-winning radio program Democracy Now! will speak at Florida Institute of Technology's Gleason Performing Arts Center Friday, March 16 at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. An Evening with Amy Goodman is co-hosted by WFIT and Space Coast Progressive Alliance.

The Sixth Annual International Festival is an opportunity to experience the culturally diverse student body on the Florida Tech campus.  The festival takes place Saturday, February 25 from noon to 5 p.m. at the university's outdoor Panthereum. Community singers, dancers and musicians join with Florida Tech international student organizations to present a colorful lineup of ethnic entertainment. Hand-made craft and food vendors will proudly offer their creations.
