Eau Gallie Arts District

The 16th Annual ArtWorks Fine Arts Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday, November 17 and 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Artworks Festival is a “plein-air” show and takes places on Highland Avenue in the historic Eau Gallie Arts District in Melbourne. "Plein air” is a term derived from the French phrase “en plein air”, which literally means “in the open air.” The unique requirement that each artist create works as they exhibit or demonstrate their techniques makes this an extraordinary show for both artists and patrons.

Fall for the Arts, scheduled for 5:00-8:30pm on Friday, October 5, 2012, will be the 5th annual celebration of Brevard's arts and cultural community. This engaging, family-friendly event takes place on the first Friday of October each year on Highland Avenue in the Eau Gallie Arts District. We close Highland Avenue and have a street party! The event features live and impromptu performances, demonstrations such as painting and weaving, food and beverages for sale, and other fun activities.

The Eau Gallie Arts District is inviting the community to “Experience EGAD” Friday, September 7 during the Art District's First Friday Art Walk. Join area artists, dancers and musicians for hands-on creative fun.

Eau Gallie Arts District's First Friday Art Walk goes to the dogs Friday, August 3rd when the district celebrates the Dog Days of Summer.  Local canines are invited to tag along with their human friends during this family friendly event. Local businesses will be providing water for the canine walkers.

Art lovers can enjoy a leisurely stroll while perusing the galleries, shops and displays from 5:30 till 8 p.m.  A free concert by The Bone Dogs takes place in the band shell and will set the mood.
