Foosaner Art Museum

Featuring the work of 43 Latin American artists and 26 artists from the United States, Pan American Modernism explores the rich visual dialogue that exists between objects produced by artists working in 13 countries in North, South, and Central America during the 60-year period between 1919 and 1979.

WFIT is fortunate to have a wide array of local non-profit organizations who will be sharing their missions and projects at the station’s 40th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, April 18 from noon till 6 pm. Among them will be “Scribble Central in EGAD”.

“Scribble Central in EGAD,” sponsored by Derek Gores and Unity of Melbourne,  will present a Saturday line-up of colorful and creative activities, including:

Derek Gores Gallery presents an exhibit of paintings by Dutch legend Frits Van Eeden, curated by Link Johnsten. 

The exhibit runs 3/20 - 4/13.                          

Opening reception Friday, March 20th, 6-8pm.

Dr. Sketchy's Melbourne welcomes Ms. Mikhaila Pearsovna's dance interpretations to the Derek Gores Gallery. Live drawing event from 8- 10 p.m. Bring your own art supplies and prepare to get sketchy.
