A Taste of Jazz is mainstream jazz at its best featuring traditional straight-ahead jazz and the contemporary sounds of today’s top artist. Fresh big band are sprinkled in and we don’t shy away from tasteful jazz vocalist. From time to time we bring artist in for a chat and occasional live performances. Emmet Cohen
American Jazz Pianist Competition

Emmet Cohen will be providing Atlantic Music Center the first performance of their Epic Eighth Season!. Purchase your tickets to his concert by calling the ticket line for the Atlantic Music Center Concert Hall at 321-768-2221.

Jennifer Glass will be the featured guest on A Taste of Jazz this Monday evening at 7:00. Jennifer became known nationwide in 2003 with her song Dreamin that hit the radio and club scene like a hurricane.

In 2008 she signed a record contract and began development on a new album. At the end of that year and before the album was complete the label owner died shutting down the label and ending her record deal.

Lenore Raphael is a jazz pianist and educator heavily influenced by Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans and George Shearing. On Monday, February 16, 2015 Lenore along with bassist Ron Pirtle and drummer Casey Dodd appeared in an intimate trio setting at the WFIT on-air studio with Taste of Jazz host Dave Fries for a 50 minute performance.

Space Coast Jazz Society Presents - Annual SCJS Benefit featuring Big Jazz Band and Rising Stars.

Like the 2014 SCJS Annual Benefit, this year’s annual benefit will feature rising jazz stars and the 17-piece Space Coast Jazz Big Band.

Don’t miss it. The event will be held on Sunday March 8 from 2 PM to 4:30 PM in the Cocoa Beach Country Club auditorium. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Student tickets are $5.

On November 1st and 2nd, the nation's top ten young jazz pianists competed for over $10,000.00 in prizes in Gleason Performing Arts Center on the Florida Tech campus in the first EVER American Jazz Pianist Competition.  Here are interviews and performances from the 5 finalists.
