Since January of 2006, radio listeners on the Space Coast have been enjoying Todd Kennedy’s great music selection on Sound Waves, which airs Monday – Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Every morning, Sound Waves offers its listeners a wide variety of music ranging from independent bands to more commercial labels. And each day’s playlist is published on www.wfit.org.
Like Todd Kennedy himself (who is not only WFIT’s Programming Director but also an experienced surfer), the show carries a lively mix of contemporary music, independent labels and rock classics that immediately bring a smile to your face when you hear them.
One of the best things about Sound Waves is that it’s one of the few programs on the Space Coast that features live, in-studio sessions and interviews with local and national bands, at least once a month.
