Coastal Connection

Produced by WFIT's General Manager, Terri Wright, Coastal Connection serves as your spotlight on the community. Each 5- min edition of Coastal Connection showcases a special event and/or not-for-profit organization in Brevard County, Florida.

Overdose Awareness Day has been a key remembrance event for those who have died from fatal drug overdoses since 2001.  It also presents an opportunity to help our local community understand that drug overdose is a social issue and no-one is immune to drug harm.  The evening will include speaker Nancy Nordyke-Shelly Coordinator for Justice for All, affiliate of the STOP Mass Incarnation Network plus testimonials from individuals.   For more information 321 241-4107
