Youth Making Ripples Film Festival January 24th

Beneath the Waves proudly presents the 2nd annual Youth Making Ripples Film Festival on January 24th at Florida Tech's Gleason Performing Arts Center.  Doors open at 5pm to view Interactive Demos with Scientists.  Film viewing begins at 6pm.   Free to public but RSVPs are encouraged;  youthmakingripples@gmail.com or call 321 345-6605.   For more information

Beneath the Waves – Youth Making Ripples Film Competition – is an opportunity  for K-12 students (< 18 years of age) to use their creative talents and serve as a voice for our oceans.  The Youth Making Ripples Competition student films debuted to the public in 2014. The competition was held at Florida Institute of Technology’s Gleason Performing arts center. Winners were selected by both 1) panel of scientific judges and 2) viewer’s choice award.

Terri Wright held the position of General Manager at WFIT from 1998-2023.
