The Brevard Community has partnered with local businesses such as Millikens Reef Port Canaveral, Rusty's Seafood & Oyster Bar, and Fishlips Waterfront Bar & Grill and all of the other restaurants at Port Canaveral to host a benefit for the Victims and the Victim's Families of the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando. Victory Casino, Southeast Petro and A&B Graphics are contributing to the event as well.
The event welcomes people of all backgrounds to unite with us as we have a celebration of unity amongst the most tragic of events that we have experienced here in Central Florida. Come out and dine at the one or all of the infamous Port Canaveral restaurants where 10% of the proceeds during this event will be given to the OneOrlando Fund that is able to help victims and their families directly.
There will be good food, drinks, live music by Cover Story FL and other local bands. Accompanied by Up with People Alumni throughout Florida. We will also be honoring the first responders that put their lives at risk to save those that were in the building that the shooting took place. As the details are worked out, there will be more information to come, but we ask that you save the date for this event.
As a community we all want to be able to do something. Money and status play no part in this fundraiser. Come one and come all to support the victims, the victim's families, and a community that will #standunited and become stronger despite all of the tragic circumstances that have befallen us.
