Unique Valentine 4 Your Sweetie-Owliver

Owliver, a stunning great horned owl and one of Florida Wildlife Hospital's Education Ambassadors visited WFIT studios to help promote their Valentine adoption program.

Adopt a raptor for your Valentine!  What a unique and heartfelt gift and you don't even have to go to the mall or fight over that last wilted bouquet or dog earred card.   For a mere $20-$35 you can adopt a barn owl, barred owl, screech owl, kestrel, tortoise or snake!  Find out more.  How can you help?  Get involved!  Donate money or supplies.  Volunteer.

The Florida Wildlife Hospital & Sanctuary is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to Florida's wildlife in need.    MISSION  Our Mission is to aid injured, sick, and orphaned native Florida wildlife and migratory birds and return them to their place in the ecosystem.   

  The Florida Wildlife Hospital and Sanctuary is open 365 days a year to admit wildlife patients. We see many declining species that are of special concern, including the sandhill crane, the gopher tortoise, and the osprey. 

 Caring for almost 5,000 patients per year. 

Although we are licensed by state and federal government agencies, we receive no funding from them. We operate only on donations from membership dues, local companies, and grants. Your support is extremely important to the Florida Wildlife Hospital and to the continued care of Florida's treasure--our wildlife.

 MEMBERSHIP  There are two ways to become a member. You can print and mail a membership form with your check or fill out our Online Form and pay through PayPal. Members support the operational costs of running our wildlife center. Individual memberships start at $20.00. You will receive our quarterly newsletter with progress reports, interesting animals cases and local environment news. By supplying your e-mail address, you will also receive important e-mail updates. Florida Wildlife Hospital cannot exist without the generosity of our community and continuing support from our members.

   HOW YOU CAN HELP  There are many ways you can support our efforts to care for injured and orphaned wildlife.You can become a member, donate items from our WISH LIST, help out as a Volunteer, sponsor an Educational program for a classroom or civic group, and attend our fundraising Events. Tell your friends, relatives, neighbors, and co-workers about Florida Wildlife Hospital!
