Socks and shoes are an ordinary part of most of our lives. But to a child who doesn't have them, the gift of new footwear can be a life changing source of confidence and comfort. Many families of children in local schools cannot afford to provide their children with regular pairs of socks and shoes, especially as their children grow.
e-Angels is holding a March For Shoes event to collect new socks and shoes to be distributed to schoolchildren in need. You can drop off new socks or shoes of any size at WFIT Studios, located at 150 W. University Blvd in Melbourne. The drive runs through the entirety of March, from the 1st to the 31st.
