Space Coast Progressive Alliance Presents The Conflict In Iraq and Syria - America's Role

On Thursday, November 6 at 6:30 p.m., The Space Coast Progressive Alliance presents The 'New' Conflict in Iraq & Syria; America’s Role.

The event takes place at the Front Street Civic Center, downtown Melbourne and includes three distinguished panelists with Q and A from the audience. Panelists include:

Hassan Shibly, Chief Executive Director, Council on American-Islamic Relations, CAIR- Florida

Robert Taylor, Chair, School of Arts and Communication and Associate Dean, College of Psychology and Liberal Arts (Historian), Florida Institute of Technology.

Wanfa Zhang, Associate Professor, School of Arts and Communication (International Relations, Political Science), Florida Institute of Technology.

If you are interested and concerned about the current state of affairs in the Middle East - particularly Syria and Iraq, this is an opportunity to learn more in a community setting...and to let your voice be heard.

The event is free, friendly and open to the public. Young people, students and folks who have never attended one of these community forums but are frustrated with the status quo are particularly encouraged to attend.
