Space Coast Music Festival Benefits Earth Awareness' Music In The Schools Program

Do you love music and also believe that music and the arts should be an essential part of children's education? If so, you won't want to miss the Space Coast Music Festival which takes place Saturday, September 28 at Manatee Sanctuary State Park, 701 Thurm Avenue, Cape Canaveral.

The folks at E.A.R.T.H. Awareness, Inc. are passionately dedicated to assisting music, art and drama programs in our schools. The City of Cape Canaveral and Jack Link & Associates are hosting the Space Coast Music Festival - a benefit for E.A.R.T.H. Awareness's Music in the Schools Program. MILA Elementary School, Merritt Island, will be the beneficiary of this year's  Festival. Proceeds will go towards buying musical instruments for MILA's music program.

A full weekend of festivities is planned and non-stop music all weekend long is the goal of this year's event. The array of rock, jazz, blues, folk, pop and easy-listening guarantees something for everyone.

National headliners The New Orleans Suspects will join Rocket Ranch, Truly Blessed, BPM, No Safe World, the John Quinlivan Band, Rough Edges, Hurricane Hawk, Bitter Sweet, Deluxe Mojo and others too numerous to mention.

The Space Coast Music Festival will feature additional attractions including: a Classic Car Show, the King and Queen of Wings Competition, an Eco Awareness Village celebrating National Pubic Lands Day, and children's activities such as face painting, a music petting zoo,  puppets and magic shows.

The festival is seeking artists and crafters, eco and youth non-profit exhibitors and business booth sponsors.
