The Florida Wildlife Corridor Expedition team recently came together with Expedition Florida 500's Justin Riney to paddle the length of Fisheating Creek - a tributary to Lake Okeechobee and the Everglades - in an effort to showcase important watersheds in Florida's interior.
The Florida Wildlife Corridor is an effort to connect a wildlife corridor throughout the state, and Expedition Florida 500 is a journey of Florida's waterways in an effort to highlight stewardship of aquatic ecosystems. Together they spent four days documenting the unique waterway of Fisheating Creek.
