Perspective On The Death of A President

Reflections and Remembrances of John F. Kennedy and His Time

To mark the fiftieth anniversary of his death, a panel discussion with Florida Tech historians and guest civic leaders will discuss the life and career of  President John F. Kennedy. It will touch on the domestic issues of his presidency (like civil rights and the environment) and the many foreign policy challenges he faced. The question of Kennedy’s place in American history will also be an important topic of the event.

Dr. Robert Taylor, head of the School of Arts and Communication will moderate a panel including: Florida Tech President Anthony J. Catanese, former Congressman Dave Weldon  Professor Gordon Patterson, and Professor Mathew Ruane.

The event is free and open to the public.
