Melbourne Yacht Club Announces The Nautical Or Not Flea Market And Open House
The Nautical or Not Flea Market and Open House comes to Melbourne Yacht Club Saturday, March 16th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is a great opportunity to shop for flea market treasures and check out the Melbourne boating scene.
Find out what the Melbourne Yacht Club, East Coast Sailing Association, Banana River Sail and Power Squadron and others have to offer. Folks from these organizations will be on hand at the Flea Market to share their enthusiasm for sailing and welcome sailors or would-be sailors into the Melbourne boating community. Melbourne Yacht Club's sailing education group will answer questions, show people around and conduct sign-ups for adult and children's sailing classes.
The Melbourne Yacht Club is located at 1202 East River Drive, off Harbor City Blvd., just south of New Haven Avenue and the Melbourne Harbor. According to Melbourne Yacht Club's website, the location is a "brackish-water "hurricane hole" at the mouth of Crane Creek. The protected, but at times challenging lagoon is perfect year-round for all types of water activities, from sail boarding to water skiing, or just relaxing on the sandy shores of one of the small uninhabited spoil islands."
Do you have treasures (nautical or not) that you'd like to sell? You can arrange to rent a table at the Nautical or Not Flea Market for $10. For further information, call 321-704-1413 or by e-mail, firstname.lastname@example.org.
