Marine & Environmental Science Camp July 20-24

Marine & Environmental Science Summer Camp.  July 20- 24, 2015.  Registration info

Camp runs from Monday through Friday,  9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Overnight campers can arrive on Sunday July 19 and depart Saturday July 25.

Check out the sample itinerary on our website. Overnight campers will also be involved in nightly educational and fun activities.

All campers will receive a bag lunch.  Breakfast, dinner, and snacks are provided for overnight campers, as are linens.  

Be prepared to get wet!   A change of clothes, a beach towel, and an extra pair of shoes are a must!  

We look forward to welcoming each of you to the Florida Institute of Technology campus, and particularly the Department of Marine and Environmental Systems.

Marine and Environmental Science Camp

Each day the campers are involved in hands-on activities and field trips to help them learn about the many aspects of marine and environmental science. Activities may include: measuring water quality in the Indian River Lagoon, examining shoreline processes and beach erosion and studying the effects of pollution on the marine environment.

9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
