Looking for a Forever Friend?

The Brevard Humane Societyhas just the right pet for you!

Although puppies and kittens are in high demand, the Humane Society has hundreds of sweet, loyal and loving companions that would be thrilled to be your forever friend.  Babies are a lot of work; house training, obedience training, etc.  You'll find many grown animals that have already been schooled in these areas and are eager to adjust to your lifestyle at our local shelter's.

Founded in 1952, the Central Brevard Humane Society (CBHS) is Brevard County's oldest established animal welfare organization. A "no kill for space" shelter, CBHS is dedicated to "speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves". We educate the community on responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals, advocate for spaying/neutering to reduce the homeless pet population and provide the best quality care to Brevard's abandoned animals by placing them with responsible, caring owners in new "forever" home.

Terri Wright held the position of General Manager at WFIT from 1998-2023.
