FM Odyssey Honors Late Progressive Radio Pioneer Pete Fornatale

FM Odyssey honors its fallen hero and dear friend, Pete Fornatale, Sunday, May 20th, from 10 to 1 p.m. Pete Fornatale, the legendary NY radio personality for 45 years and one of the pioneers of free-form progressive radio, was the inspiration behind Fred Migliore's dream to start FM Odyssey 21 years ago on WFIT.

For the past 17 years, Fred and Pete were close friends, working with one another on many occasions to produce their radio shows, Pete's Mixed Bag and Fred's FM Odyssey.

Fred will share highlights from the many radio projects they worked on together, including the 40th Anniversary of Woodstock, The Rise And Fall Of Commercial, FM Radio and Pete's visit to WFIT for Fred's 50th birthday show.

WFIT welcomes the listeners from Pete's station, WFUV in NY along with the rest of the world, to celebrate the life of an amazing man by offering a live stream of the show, online from 10 -1 p.m. EDT, Sunday, May 20th.
