Florida Wildlife Hospital Hosts 10th Annual Benefit Run, Born To Be Wild

The Florida Wildlife Hospital and Sanctuary announces their 10th Annual Benefit Run, “Born to be Wild”.  The Run takes place Sunday, August 19 with the first bike out at 10 a.m. fromMalabar Mo’s, 2805 Malabar Road, Malabar.  There will be music, vendors and drawings. The run ends at 2 p.m. at the American Legion Post 81, 2909 South Harbor City Boulevard.

It’s one of the best rides of the year!

Proceeds benefit the Florida Wildlife Hospital.  The hospital treats sick, injured and orphaned native Florida wildlife and migratory birds with the goal of releasing them back into the wild. The Florida Wildlife Hospital and Sanctuary is licensed by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the U.S.Fish and Wildlife Service. The hospital is a not-for-profit organization with no state or federal funding, dependent on the support of the community and many hours of volunteer time.
