Dr. Robert Weaver, Assistant Professor of Ocean Engineering in the Department of Marine and Environmental Systems, stopped by the WFIT studios to talk about the Indian River Lagoon Research Institute TechCon 2015. The public is invited to attend. The IRLRITechCon 2015 costs only $40 and is scheduled to take place on 25 and 26 September at the Florida Tech Center for Aeronautics & Innovation (CAI) building. TechCon 2015 will focus on technical solutions to water quality. There are many activities scheduled, from all-day presentations on Friday, 25 September, to an Indian River outdoor excursion (only an additional $25) on Saturday morning, 26 Sept.
