First Amendment Rights Celebrated at Florida Tech

The Florida Tech Crimson student newspaper will celebrate First Amendment rights on Wednesday, Feb. 26 on the Florida Tech campus.

Everyone is invited to the third annual free speech celebration at Florida Tech, hosted by the Crimson on Feb. 26.  At 9 a.m in the Hartley Room, hear a keynote speech by Alec Klein, director of Northwestern University's Medill Justice Project.

During lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., be a part of "Live Free or Eat Free," a student demonstration where you can get a free meal in exchange for your First Amendment Rights, located on the Crawford Green.

At 3:30 p.m., a First Amendment panel discussion with Klein, attorney Jack Kirschenbaum and Florida Today news director Mara Bellaby, moderated by Florida Tech pre-law instructor and attorney Michael Kahn.

All events are free and open to the public.
