As WFIT listeners have most likely heard, Amy Goodman will be in Melbourne for a speaking event this coming Friday, March 16, right here on the Florida Tech campus.
Goodman gives a sneak preview of some of the subject matter for this event: "...independent media in a time of war, elections and uprisings."
Goodman will also discuss her own recent experiences with freedom of speech and the press issues.
Very often at the end of her own interviews Goodman will ask a guest, "What gives you hope?"
