Matt’s Casbah will present Brevard County’s first, “Farm To Table” Dinner on Saturday, May 31 at Florida Fields To Forks’ farm located at 1200 Corey Road in Malabar, sponsored in part by Florida Tech.
Matt and his team of chefs will prepare the menu at live cooking stations, with each portion paired with wine. The menu will feature local, pasture-raised Katahdin lamb; Berkshire pork and grass-fed and finished Angus beef; and local, farm fresh seasonal vegetables, fruits, berries and desserts.
Florida Fields to Forks, a Community Supported Agriculture farm, owned and operated by mother and son partners, Jan Pence and Brock Hall will provide all the food for the event.
There will also be live entertainment during the event and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Marine Resources Council's Save the Indian River Lagoon Program.
