Brevard Botanical Garden-Open for Plant Sales on Fridays

The nursery is open to the public every Friday from 9 AM  -  Noon

Cash, checks and charges are accepted

The nursery at the Brevard Botanical Garden is guided by the rules and regulations set forth by the UF/IFAS Brevard County Extension Service. Our volunteers, along with their major interest in gardening and great enthusiasm, have gone through weeks of classroom training as well as direct public interaction and hands on experience developing their gardening talents. These volunteers use their experience in developing plant material to be added to our gardens as well in developing additional plant material for sale to the general public.

Most of our plants are grown directly from seeds or cuttings either from our existing plant stock or from our Master Gardeners own stock. They are raised in sterilized pots, planted in fresh sterilized planting mediums and carefully watered. The utmost care is taken in maintaining a pest and disease free environment and we avoid using chemicals whenever there is an organic alternative.

Since all of our plant material is locally sourced, you can be sure it will be healthy and survive in the Brevard County climates.

Trees, shrubs, ornamentals, annuals, succulents, natives and edibles are all available, depending on the growing season of course.

We accept cash, checks and charges. All purchases you make at our nursery go to support the Brevard Botanical Garden, we are a not-for-profit organization and the income we generate from these sales will help grow our Botanical Garden.

Our plants are cared for by UF/IFAS Master Gardeners following strict guidelines and our nursery and greenhouse are certified by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

When you visit one of our sales, become a member of The Brevard Botanical Garden or get information about the UF/IFAS Master Gardener classes.
