The inaugural Doug Flutie Orlando Golf Tournament at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club Orlando, Grande Lakes is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 28. Proceeds benefit the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism and the Scott Center for Autism Treatment at Florida Institute of Technology.

An exhibition of paintings from Merritt Island-based artist Susan Martin will open Tuesday, Sept. 8, at the Renee Foosaner Education Center’s Fritz Van Eeden Gallery in the Eau Gallie Arts District of Melbourne.

WFIT 89.5 FM will continue as the radio home of Florida Tech football as all 11 Panther games in 2015 will be broadcasted on the on-campus radio station. Not only will fans be able to listen to the Panthers on the radio dial, each broadcast will also be available at WFIT.org and through the TuneIn radio app.

The Ruth Funk Center for Textile Arts at Florida Institute of Technology opens Light and Shadow: Contemporary Fiber Art by Hye Shin on Saturday, Sept. 19. The exhibition will be on view through Dec. 12 at the Funk Center on the university’s Melbourne campus.

The first major U.S. exhibition of American-born artist Evan Roth’s, multi-faceted and interactive installations, custom software, prints, sculptures and websites will come to Florida Institute of Technology’s Foosaner Art Museum from Sept. 12 through Nov. 8.
