Pam Pedersen

Director of Production & Projects

Pam was born in Brevard county and is a 4th generation Floridian. She worked in radio back when "editing" meant cutting tape with a razor blade and taping it back together. She spent  25+ years as a goldsmith and gemologist....and raising children.

At WFIT, Pam produces and hosts Linking the Arts and writes and records various announcements. She also maintains the FCC Public Inspection Files; represents WFIT at public functions; serves as volunteer coordinator; and completes other projects as they arise.

In her free time, Pam loves spending time with family and friends, outdoor activities, cooking, reading and (of course) music.

Ways To Connect

Join the Brevard Community Chorus and the Eastern Florida State Concert Choir when they present Requiem for the Living, by Dan Forrest and Serenade to Music, by Ralph Vaughan Williams. Forrest will be on hand to address the audience about his best-known and much-acclaimed requiem, which offers a fresh and inspiring perspective on life, love, loss and renewal. The five-movement work has been performed dozens of times worldwide since its premiere in 2013. The 100+ voices will be accompanied by members of the Brevard Symphony Orchestra.

Please join the School of Psychology Diversity Committee for a special showing of the new original musical "Riot" performed by West Shore High School Theater Troupe 6034 under the mentorship of Ms. Mauren Fallon, West Shore Faculty and Theater Arts Director. Open to all FIT students, staff, faculty, and the general public!

Written entirely by West Shore High School theater students, Riot is a timely drama about community unrest and police violence.

WFIT is collecting holiday toys for our local children in need.  Stop by our broadcast center with a new, unwrapped toy during normal business hours.  Remember the reason for the season, and help make someone's holiday a happy one!

In this segment of Linking the Arts, host Pam Pedersen visits with Craig Chapman, Melbourne’s own producer of Real Food Real Kitchens. Listen in to find out more about this new local magazine and TV show.
