4th Annual Original Music Series Features Monday's Mona Lisa, Nov. 23

The 4th Annual Brevard County's Original Music Series continues at Lou’s Blues on Sunday, November 23.

The evening kicks off at 7 p.m. with Monday’s Mona Lisa – an up-and-coming Pop/Rock/Post-Grunge/Alternative band from Satellite Beach, Florida. Monday's Mona Lisa were voted Favorite Original Band at the 11th Annual Brevard Live Music Awards held Sept. 8, 2014 at Florida Tech.

The ArtWorks of Eau Gallie Fine Arts Festival takes place Saturday and Sunday, November 22nd and 23rd in Melbourne’s historic district of Eau Gallie.              

This fine arts festival is truly an art lover's dream come true. The festival is a ‘plein-air’ show in which all artists exhibit their skills with public demonstrations in the ‘open air.’

Florida Tech’s Fall Music Concert Series Kicks Off November 20 with British Invasion

Florida Tech’s fall music concert series kicks off in style Thursday and Friday, November 20 and 21 at 7 p.m. On Thursday, November 20, Florida Tech’s String Orchestra presents British Invasion – String Serenades & Rock Anthems at the Gleason Performing Arts Center. The Concert Choir presents It’s a Grand Night for Singing: Choral Masterworks from Stage and Screen at the Florida Tech Panthereum on Friday, Nov. 21. Both concerts are free and open to the public.

WFIT Transmitter Room Renovations Causing Outages

WFIT apologizes for the recent broadcast disruptions.

Our transmitter is presently located in a room the size of a walk-in closet. It is stuffed to the ceiling with gear. We are now working with Florida Tech to double the size of the space. This involves a great deal moving and shuffling. Like most renovation projects there have been some unanticipated snags. This has caused some outages to our broadcast. WFIT engineers are working diligently with Florida Tech to resolve these issues. WFIT is thankful for your patience while we complete this project.
