Tai Chi and Qigong are exercises that promote balance in body, mind and spirit. These Tues/Thurs morning classes explore some of the most time honored techniques on the planet. We practice breathing techniques and isometric exercises in the opening warm up set. Then move on to the flowing 5 Beasts at Play set known to balance the 5 elements and create better breathing and improved immune function. As students progress, we then learn the BaMen tai chi form, one of the oldest tai chi routines on the planet designed to create a smooth flow of energy or chi within the practitioner for overall increased health and vitality.
